Client work has a way of humbling even the most experienced practitioners

Reader,

Client work has a way of humbling even the most experienced practitioners.

Not because we don't know enough, though there is always more to learn. But because every client is a living, complex human being whose needs don't always map neatly onto what we studied.

  • A case that seemed straightforward reveals unexpected layers.
  • An essence that should fit perfectly doesn't land the way we anticipated.
  • A client returns with something we haven't encountered before and we find ourselves sitting quietly with our uncertainty.

This is the nature of the work.

What makes the difference — for new practitioners finding their footing and for experienced ones navigating complexity — is having somewhere to bring those moments. A confidential space where you can think and feel it through with people who understand exactly what you're sitting with.

That's what the Client Care Mentoring Group is for.

There's something that happens in group exploration that doesn't happen anywhere else.

When we bring a case or a theme to the circle, the heart fields of everyone present come together. Insights emerge that weren't in any book, that no individual could have arrived at alone. Every person in the room — new or experienced — brings something that amplifies the whole.

This is the collective wisdom of the group at work. It's a living process, not a linear one. And there is a magic in it that we've come to trust.

Once a month, Ruth and Kathleen gather with a dedicated group of practitioners to work through real client cases together.

You bring what's alive in your practice: a case you're unsure about, a situation that surprised you, a question you've been turning over on your own. The group thinks and feels it through with you.

Ruth brings more than three decades of clinical experience to every session, the kind of depth that comes from having sat with thousands of clients and encountered most of what this work can surface.

Kathleen brings her practitioner's eye for what the essences are actually doing, and why, alongside her gift for holding space that is both precise and deeply warm.

Together they create a room where uncertainty is welcome, complexity is respected, and no question is too basic or too advanced to bring.

Here's what one member shared:

"This group truly deepened my understanding of the essences and also the various ways they can be used with clients. It absolutely raised my self-confidence in working with clients and the essences. I am so grateful for the group — it provided a place where I felt I was among friends on the same journey and equal." — Amberly

flowering honeysuckle

Hello there Reader, Someone seems disengaged from their life. They’re distracted, daydreaming, not fully present. Clematis or Honeysuckle? On paper, the two can sound quite similar. Even the plants have something in common: both are scrambling, climbing types. But look more closely, and they’re moving in very different directions. 🌿 With Clematis, the person isn’t fully here because they’re… somewhere else. Unfocused, floating, not quite bringing their full presence into physical reality. 🌸...
