We have more in the works you'll hear about soon, but for now here's your monthly flower essence nourishment:

FEP87 Why Healers Hide: The fear of being seen and where it comes from

The fear of being seen: an inexplicable dread around being seen publicly, in person or online, is common among practitioners of alternative healing modalities, flower essences included. Revealing our true selves, our spiritual, mystical, or intuitive selves, is a challenge for so many of us.

In her role as a business coach, Rochana noticed this and related deep-seated patterns of staying small that consistently blocked women from their business goals, and she saw it in herself as well. She noticed the difference between how visibility felt in the corporate world vs. in the healing world, and set out to explore why her nervous system was triggered so much more in the latter case. The rabbit hole she found was one that deeply resonated with her modern-day experience, past life memories, and connection to her ancestors.

In this episode, we explore where this fear comes from and why it’s persistent β€” we look at the roots of it as inherited transgenerational trauma stemming from centuries of patriarchy and the terror of the witch hunts. We bring in flower essences and gem elixirs as exceptional allies for the journey of becoming visible.

For the last year, she's been creating an essence blend each month on the new moon according to the energies of the lunar cycle. I love her recent post on Monkshood, and the delightful insight she brings to Heather. Enjoy! - Ro

Dear animal lovers 🐾 When I started working with animals and flower essences back in 2008, I often felt like I was figuring it out alone. There weren't many books about using flower essences with animals, and they rarely covered more than the Bach Flowers. The information on essences was primarily human-focused, and the animal behavior world had little awareness of vibrational medicine. I had some clues from my training, a few ideas, and my deep love for the animals in my care β€” but very few...

Hi Reader, You know how to work with flower essences. You've done the training. You understand the plants, the patterns, the subtle art of matching essence to person. You can sit with a client and sense what they need. The work itself, the actual flower essence work, that part feels right. What doesn't always feel right is everything around it. 🌻 How do you explain what you do to someone who's never heard of flower essence therapy? 🌻 How do you find the people who need what you offer without...

Reader, Client work has a way of humbling even the most experienced practitioners. Not because we don't know enough, though there is always more to learn. But because every client is a living, complex human being whose needs don't always map neatly onto what we studied. A case that seemed straightforward reveals unexpected layers. An essence that should fit perfectly doesn't land the way we anticipated. A client returns with something we haven't encountered before and we find ourselves...
