Plant families and their ecosystems create a constellation of patterns that we can correlate with human life experiences
We believe that to get the full picture of the essences and to bring them alive within our being, we learn both from the plants and with the plants. Our knowledge comes co-creatively by observing the whole plant in its ecosystem and correlating it with the archetypal patterns that are found in human life and human society.
This idea of being Plant-Centric is a core value of our school, and it's why this flagship course, taught by Ruth Toledo Altschuler and Kathleen Aspenns, is so near and dear to our hearts.

Ruth Toledo Altschuler
In the role of educator, translator, and course producer, Ruth has worked alongside the researchers and teachers of flower essences for more than three decades.
She's visited the environments where these essences have been made and met many of these plants in their ecosystems. Being system-minded, she's observed how plants in the same family share common qualities as well as distinct differences in their application as flower essences.
