A story about running on empty 🌟

Dear Reader,

We'd like to share a story with you.

When Susan first came to work with Kathleen, she described her life in a way that many of us would recognize. She was exhausted. She had a hard time saying no to anyone, at work, at home, with family.

There was a low hum of anxiety that never quite switched off, a constant worry about whether she was doing enough, being enough. She didn't ask for help easily.

Asking for help felt like admitting failure.

Flower essence work moves in layers, and Susan's journey reflected that. The early sessions were about stabilizing, helping her nervous system find some ground before anything else could shift. Essences like Red Chestnut, for the anxious worry that spiraled outward toward everyone she loved. Pine, for the guilt that made rest feel like a luxury she hadn't earned.

Slowly, something began to change.

She started to recognize the moment before she automatically said yes, that split second where she could pause. She began to notice what she actually wanted, not just what was expected of her. She stood up for herself at a medical appointment in a way that surprised even her.

And one day, she cancelled a trip she didn't want to take.

Not dramatically. Not with a long explanation. She was tired, she listened to that, and she chose herself.

After working with Sunflower for a while, Susan said she was starting to own the ground she stands on. We haven't forgotten that phrase.

(Susan's name has been changed to protect her privacy. Her story is shared with permission.)

The core teachings are contained in the self-study modules, and the live integration sessions will be recorded and posted...

Dear Reader, If you work with clients, you know these patterns. The person who gives and gives and arrives depleted. The one whose anxiety spikes at the thought of disappointing someone. The one who seems guarded, walled off, keeping real connection at a careful distance. These patterns show up constantly in sensitive, self-aware people. And having a clear framework for working with them β€” one that goes to the roots rather than the surface β€” makes a real difference in what's possible. The...
